Coral Cove Group (CCG) and the L’Ance aux Epines Association (LAEA) wish to share with the Authority our ‘work in progress’ in preparing a Local Development Plan (LDP) for L’Ance aux Epines (LAE) – Draft 1 attached.
This LDP is prepared under the Physical Planning and Development Control Act 23, 2016, Part III. It is hoped that, following further work on the LDP with the Authority, the LDP will be adopted by the Authority under S. 10(2).
In addition, the process we have undertaken to date has identified areas we wish to see designated as Environmental Protected Areas under the Act S.48.
As the next stage, and when the Authority has been able to review our draft document, we would appreciate a meeting at which we could present the LDP and hear the Authority’s views on how to improve it and take it forward.
We trust the Authority receives this draft LDP in the spirit in which we submit it. Indeed we know from your earlier pronouncements that the Authority values the concept of zonal planning. We hope that the LAE LDP may help the development of similar exercises for other parts of the country.
